Nikolay Davydenko booked a place in today's Sony Ericsson Open final with a straight-sets defeat of Andy Roddick in Miami.
Davydenko came up with several key breaks of serve in a 7-6 6-2 victory and will face secondranked Rafael Nadal.
Sixth-seeded Roddick beat world No.1 Roger Federer in the quarters but could not build on that success. Nadal got his final place by beating Tomas Berdych 7-6 6-2.
