Leicester potter Mark Selby became the lastframe specialist as he beat Ken Doherty 6-5, his third win of the week in the decider.
Selby faces Stephen Lee for the Saga Masters' £150,000 first prize after Lee beat Marco Fu 6-2 in the second semi last night.
Selby, looking to be the first Wembley debutant to win since 1989, said: "I've surprised myself getting to the final. I had some luck but I'm chuffed to bits."
