Battling Bath took a significant stride towards the play-offs after they edged an enthralling encounter.
Tom Cheeseman scored three tries, allowing Bath to stay afloat despite the best efforts of Worcester's Miles Benjamin.
Benjamin claimed two high-class tries to underline his reputation as a ruthless finisher.
He inspired Worcester's recovery from 16-8 and when Shane Drahm crossed - and converted - it gave them a 20-16 lead.
But Cheeseman finished off a slick move 11 minutes from time, with Olly Barkley converting.
Bath boss Steve Meehan said: "It is a massive result for us." Worcester's Mike Ruddock said: "We made crucial errors."
