Kew can jump to it

Kew Jumper (3.40) can leap to the head of affairs again by winning the featured handicap chase at Kempton today.

Andy Turnell has his horses in cracking form and the 9yo, who missed last season through injury, is open to more improvement after scoring with a bit up his sleeve at Lingfield this month.

This consistent gelding - he's won three and been placed five times in 12 completed starts over fences - can shrug off his 7lb ratings rise.

Alan King can get the meeting off to a flyer courtesy of French import Quelclasse (2.00), who shaped well on his British debut at Chepstow last month and will be better suited by this flatter track.
