Arsene Wenger has warned Theo Walcott that he is still not ready to lead Arsenal's attack next season.
The 19-year-old has been handed a chance to impress England boss Fabio Capello after being named in his squad to face Trinidad & Tobago and the USA this summer. But Gunners chief Wenger said: "In the future I see him as a central striker, but next season I still see him on the flanks.
"The next stage for him is to be a guy who can produce those performances regularly with efficiency every game. I'm very hopeful.
"Theo sometimes drifts in and out of games too much."
