Putter tantrum at Italian Open

Mansfield's Oliver Wilson was left cursing his nutter-with-a-putter tantrum that cost him the Italian Open.

A final-round 64 saw the 27-year-old finish one shot behind Hennie Otto, who threw away a five-shot lead for the second time in four tournaments before holding his nerve over the closing holes.

In the second round Wilson angrily smashed his putter against his bag and bent it. He had to use a wedge on the greens and his 69 was his worst round of the week.
