Lee Westwood believes his game is moving into peak condition ready for the Masters in two weeks' time.
The 34-year old English Ryder Cup star warmed up for Augusta with a six-under-par 66 at the Andalucian Open in Marbella.
It included a blistering start of five straight birdies and he could have broken his own course record 64 had he not missed several other birdie opportunities.
He takes a one-shot lead over fellow Englishmen David Lynn and Oliver Fisher into today's final round.
A confident Westwood said: "I am right where I want to be going into the final round here.
And it's good to be playing under a bit pressure in the final round with the Masters in just two weeks.
