Kevin Blackwell is planning a £5m summer swoop for a trio of stars who can boost Sheffield United's promotion push next season.
The Bramall Lane boss, who secured his own future with the Blades by signing a three-year deal eight days ago, wants Plymouth's Hungarian duo Peter Halmosi and Krisztian Timar and Luton keeper Dean Brill.
Midfielder Halmosi and left-back Timar, both 28, are rated at £2m apiece.
Brill, 22, carries a £1m price tag. He has made only 72 appearances for Luton, but has quickly built a reputation as one of the best young keepers out side the Premier League.
