Commonwealth super-featherweight champion Kevin Mitchell won his non-title bout with outclassed Venezuelan journeyman Edison Torres with a third-round stoppage at the York Hall in Bethnal Green.
Mitchell, 23, from Dagenham, had a frustrating week after his British title tilt against Carl Johanneson fell through due to an injury to the Leeds champion and he was never extended last night.
