WORLD ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS
Nicola Sanders yesterday gave 400m star Christine Ohuruogu a chance to become Britain's greatest woman world champion.
Sanders led the 4x400m team into today's final where Ohuruogu, who was rested for the semis, will aim to become the first British woman to win two golds at one World Championships.
Britain were second in their heat in 3:25.45 behind America and Sanders, who ran the anchor leg, said: "We're in with as good as shout as anyone."
