Kevin Keegan danced a jig of delight as he celebrated Newcastle United's first win since he returned as manager.
The crucial victory over relegation-threatened Fulham was the 10th game in charge for Keegan this time round. He said: "It takes the pressure off everyone at the club. The players' attitudes have been questioned and so has my ability as a manager.
"Tonight I am going to take my wife out. She hasn't been out for a few weeks."
Strikers Mark Viduka and Michael Owen scored the Toon goals and Keegan added: "I can't praise them too much for their contributions and goals. Viduka's goal was typical of him, he showed good feet and produced a great finish.
"Owen has answered his critics with his goals this week. Michael would certainly be in most people's England team."
Sunderland achieved their first away League win of the season by winning 1-0 at Aston Villa. Michael Chopra (left) scored their goal.
