No wonder Britney Spears has been making more of an effort to get her face on and sort her weave.

She's getting close to Mel Gibson's son Edward. A close friend said: "Edward was introduced to Britney by his dad Mel Gibson, who counselled Britney through her drink and drugs addictions. They chat on the phone and Edward's been round hers with take-out for two."

Sounds cosy..
