Amy off to Miami

Blake Fielder Civil has ordered his missus Amy Winehouse to go to  Miami for Christmas to try to enjoy herself while he is locked up on  remand.

Banged-up Blake made an emotional phone call the night before  his court appearance on Friday to tell Amy to spend Christmas in  the city where they were married last year.

He told the chart-topping star he wanted her to remember the  happy times at Christmas rather than trudge to Pentonville Prison  to see him.   

Before he was remanded in the nick on charges of GBH and  perverting the course of justice, he planned to take Amy to India  for Christmas.   

But their holiday plans were shattered when he was refused bail -  and there is no chance of Blake getting out until January 18 when he goes back to court. He could even remain inside until June 23 when his trial begins.So the beehived singer has agreed to  fly to Miami with pals immediately after Hanukkah celebrations  with her Jewish parents Mitch and Janis.

Hairdresser Alex Foden, who has the hard task of taming Amy's wild mane, has been a shoulder for her to cry on after emotional prison visits and phone calls. She fled to his flat after Blake was arrested and has been staying over there.

Alex confided to me at Amy's Brixton academy gig on Friday: "Amy told me Blake wants her to go away for Christmas to get away  from it all. She is not on top of the world. But speaking to Blake on the phone helps. She'll go to Miami if Blake keeps going on about it because she loves him and wants to  make him happy."

Looking close to collapse, Amy went on an hour late at the gig, dropping her microphone and stumbling. As Amy turns herself into a pantomime figure, what a coincidence that her brother Alex wrote this year's panto at London's Guildhall, which opened on Friday.
