The kooks: Konk (Virgin) - It's hard to like The Kooks. Lead singer Luke and his guitarist mate Hugh behave just like characters in an ITV indie band drama. But their music is a different matter as they prove with another set of familyfriendly primetime pop classics. Rating: 3/5
