The story: Drama based on an ancient Chinese proverb that sees life broken into four emotional cornerstones - happiness, pleasure, love and sorrow.
The verdict: Director Jieho Lee may be a newcomer, but he's assembled a top-notch cast for his intelligent but rather simplistic film.
The likes of Whitaker, Gellar and Bacon all take it seriously, but Lee tries to leverage in as much film school knowledge as possible, resulting in a rather muddled affair.
Final Cut: A talented cast can't make this ambitious film a success. **
