You play a veteran crook returning to Britain from the Costa Del Crime in new drama The Invisibles. Have you ever been in trouble with the law?
Anthony Head: I’ve got three points on my driving licence. You only have to go over 30mph and you’re done for. My mum had a real innate sense of right and wrong when I was growing up, so I never dreamed of stealing.
Is it fun to play a criminal?

What was the last domesticated thing you did?
Hoovered and tidied up the kitchen yesterday. I fed the donkeys this morning. We all pitch in.
Have you ever worn sunglasses indoors?

I probably did when I was pretending to be a rock and roll star. And there was a period in LA when it was very cool to wear tinted lenses. I think they were orange too. Very cool indeed.
When did you last take public transport?
I got on the tube on Monday. If you don’t attract attention to yourself, you can almost be invisible.
How many fancy cars do you own?
I got a Mercedes drop-top convertible for my birthday. And Sarah has a truck for all the hay, bedding and stuff for the animals.
