The Duchess of York and Findus frozen fish tycoon Geir Frantzen are planning to marry.
Sarah Ferguson and Frantzen have discussed wedding arrangements and friends expect them to make an announcement soon. The pair have been seeing each other for more than a year, although Fergie has always claimed that they are just "very good friends".
But the relationship has deepened over the past few months and they are said to be head over heels in love - despite the mystery surrounding what happened to his relationship with his girlfriend of seven years, Alise Davidsen.
Instead, the Norwegian businessman - who bought the British division of Findus in 2005 - has been spotted with Fergie at intimate get-togethers.
They have been on shopping trips in London's Bond Street, on dinner dates and had a day out at the British Grand Prix. Meanwhile, Fergie, 48, has stopped wearing the engagement ring bought by former husband Prince Andrew - despite keeping it on since their 1996 divorce.
And Geir, 40, recently bought her a £130,000 Bentley. The friend said: "I overheard him on the phone to Sarah and he was saying how much he wanted to marry her. Geir is clearly besotted."
The Duchess is spending a lot of time in London - where Frantzen lives in a penthouse apartment - and neighbours said she and daughters Eugenie and Beatrice have visited him there. Sources said he had also stayed at her home in Surrey.
