FORMER glamour girl Abi Titmuss has told how her life spiralled out of control after she broke up with footballer Lee Sharp.
She reveals that she became hooked on booze, drugs, food, sex...and shopping.

“My whole world is torn apart,” the former nurse reveals in an entry in her new book, The Secret Diary Of Abigail Titmuss. She talks about being “completely gaga” about him and how shocked she is when the newspaper stories broke about him cheating on her with shopgirl Kathryn Shaw.
She wrote: “I feel like I’m being physically torn apart. I have my boyfriend looking me straight in the eye, telling me he loves me and totally denying it.”
When she later discovered he cheated on her with model Louise Redpath, she wrote: “Was our whole relationship a lie?”
After they broke up she’s says she came to loathe her life. An entry for November 2006 says: “Have started drinking again. My life is empty. It’s like there’s a gaping void inside me that I have to fill.
“I’ve discovered there are various means of doing this: food, drink and men. But the high is transient and I am always left feeling worse than when I started. Deeply. Deeply unhappy.”
Things came to a head over Christmas 2006 when she went on a two-day bender.

She was in such a state that she couldn’t get home for Christmas Day, and spent the day alone.
She wrote: “I feel lower than I’ve ever felt in my life. I hate my life and I hate myself. Something has to give. I’m so depressed.”
She eventually broke down on the phone to her mum last February after months of misery. Soon afterwards she managed to turn her life around after being put in touch with a therapist.
“I was in a cycle of self-obsession, self-loathing and self-pity,” she said.
“I used drink, drugs, sex, food, shopping...anything I could to numb the pain. Therapy was the best thing I’ve ever done – it changed my life.”
Abi first became a successful model and celebrity after standing by former Blue Peter presenter John Leslie when he was charged with raping Ulrika Johnsson. But they split up soon after Leslie was found not guilty.
In her book she details her rapid rise to fame and also writes about her long-term relationship with David Walliams.
Now she has reinvented herself as an actress.
