A young woman whose identical twin was her rock while battling a rare bone cancer has lost her fight her life.
Emily Blunt, 20, died on Friday with her sister Kath, who she described as her shadow, at her side.
Kath said yesterday she felt "ripped apart" by her sister's death from incurable osteosarcoma.
Before she died, student Emily, of Longlevens, Glos, said she was comforted by the thought her twin would outlive her.
Kath said the family planned to travel to San Francisco because Emily had always wanted to go there and asked them to scatter her ashes there.
