A woman has died after losing her footing on an isolated mountain path.
The 49-year-old, who has not been named, is thought to have plunged 200ft to her death at Lord's Rake - a notoriously tricky stretch on Shamrock Crag, Scafell, in Cumbria.
Her walking companion - a man in his 40s - dislocated his shoulder trying to reach her.

Rescue crews had to walk an hour to reach the climbers - both believed to be from Birmingham - who were airlifted to West Cumberland Hospital.
Mountain rescuer Julian Carradice said: "The couple's route looks like a plausible path. But it is loose gravel. It is one of those tragic accidents."
Mr Carradice there was good visibility when the tragedy happened.
