I'd Do Anything gave Andrew Lloyd Webber vertigo

BBC bosses had to make last-minute changes to the set of I'd Do Anything - because it gave judge Andrew Lloyd Webber vertigo.

The theatre impresario was due to sit on a throne on top of a raised platform for the show, which is searching for two unknown performers to play Oliver Twist and Nancy in a new West End musical.

But they were forced to change their plans when Lord Lloyd Webber, 59, said sitting at a height left him feeling dizzy and unwell.

A source on the BBC1 series, which started last night, said: "Andrew told execs that he wanted the layout changed because it was triggering his condition.

"He said his head was spinning when he stood up which was obviously unpleasant. Changes were made and Andrew will now be at a height that won't leave him feeling sick."
