Seems like every week some optimist launches a would be supercar. This time it's the all-American Iconic GTR.
It's not another Cobra clone, but a hand-built, carbon fibre-bodied rocket, powered by Iconic's 800bhp 420 cu inch 6.9-litre alloy V8 that's rumoured to hit 60 in two-point-something seconds.
The GTR is bristling with technology from the petrol flap control system to jet fighter instrumentation. Production will be limited to 100, which means it's probably sold out already. But at £300k you're not far short of what you'd pay for a real Cobra.
