Heather Mills is planning to become a vegan version of Nigella Lawson after landing her own cookery show.

The ex-model - embroiled in a bitter divorce battle with Paul McCartney - will also dish out advice on how to lead a vegan lifestyle with her own diet and fitness tips.

Vegans eat no animal products at all, including milk, eggs and cheese.

A source close to the charity campaigner said: "Heather thinks a cooking show will give her a caring, sexy image like Nigella.

"She is passionate about being a vegan and loves being in the limelight... she is determined to be a big star."

Sir Paul's first wife Linda was a vegan campaigner and launched her own vegetarian meal range and cookbooks.

Heather, 40, has told friends she is also being lined up to present a Watchdog-style investigations show and is trying to get a backer for a chat show.

She believes her difficult childhood and stressful divorce will make her a great agony aunt.

A friend said: "Heather is talking about being the next Oprah Winfrey.

"She hopes a TV career will show she can cope emotionally and financially without Sir Paul."
