A £100MILLION hotel development at a golf resort will be delayed for months to protect a rare colony of bats.
The brown long-eared bats have gone into hibernation at the St Mellion Golf and Country Club and cannot be disturbed until they wake up in March.
Barrie Aspinall, manager of the club in Liskeard, Cornwall, said: "We can't do anything."
