Before her Glastonbury singing debut Kate - who two years ago was pictured snorting cocaine at a Babyshambles recording session - had filmed 28-year-old Doherty from the wings on an old cine camera as festival-goers struggled in the mud.
Conditions for the 180,000 revellers at the rain-soaked rock festival - the world's biggest - had got so bad 1,200 were hurt when they slipped in the mire, with 32 needing hospital treatment.
